Narrative:
My aircraft TCASII alerted traffic at 12 O'clock, 10 mi, 2000 ft above, descending. At approximately 3 mi I sighted the aircraft and directed the first officer to bank right immediately. Collision avoided with the other aircraft passing to the left, at approximately 14300 ft. Phx departure described the other aircraft as a beech king air, VFR. Structure appeared similar to beech 99.
