Narrative:

I landed my PA-28-180 at ilg airport at approximately XA00 pm local, jul/xx/94. WX was 89 degrees F, visibility 7 mi, ceiling 3300 ft. Runway 1 had considerable tire scuffs. Because of the heat, the tire scuff buildup was soft and slippery. It was like landing on ice. I was able to maintain directional control but had a scary few moments. I suggest possible ATC warnings to light aircraft if scuff buildup is appreciable and WX is hot.
