Narrative:

Duct leak light on #1 engine came on during climb. #1 air conditioning and bleeds were shut off, checklist was run. After 3 mins, light remained on, requiring shutdown of #1 engine. This was accomplished, emergency return to cincinnati was executed. Chain: mechanical failure. No contributing factors discovered via system walk around. Corrective measures: via checklist procedures! Human: captain's decision and all crew actions in accordance with training and operations manuals. Landing was uneventful. All passenger returned for flight with same crew 30 mins after landing.
