Narrative:
At approximately XA30 CDT I taxied from the ramp area toward the active runway, runway 4, at denver city airport, tx (E57). After I started my engines I announced my intentions on the CTAF frequency 122.8. I stated my taxi. My route took me onto runway 8/26 wbound to the intersection of runway 4/22. I turned left swbound, to back taxi runway 4 for takeoff -- again announcing my intentions to back taxi. (There are no txwys at E57.) after I made my turn onto runway 22 toward the takeoff position, I noticed a 'V' tail bonanza on takeoff roll on runway 4. At no time did I hear the bonanza on the CTAF. My radios worked normally during the entire mission. The bonanza continued his takeoff and passed approximately 100 ft above my position at the intersection of runway 8/26 and 4/22 where I had stopped, unable to back up. I believe the bonanza taxied to runway 4 without announcing his intentions on the CTAF. He did not advise me of his position when I announced my movements. After the incident I tried to talk with the bonanza on the CTAF without success. If he had a radio he didn't use it or was on the wrong frequency.

Title: RPTR TAXIED ONTO RWY AT UNCTLED ARPT USING CTAF 122 PT 8 APPROPRIATELY WAS STARTLED BY UNANNOUNCED TKOF IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION COMING WITHIN 100 FT OVER THE TOP OF HIM. CONFLICT GND CRITICAL.
Narrative: AT APPROX XA30 CDT I TAXIED FROM THE RAMP AREA TOWARD THE ACTIVE RWY, RWY 4, AT DENVER CITY ARPT, TX (E57). AFTER I STARTED MY ENGS I ANNOUNCED MY INTENTIONS ON THE CTAF FREQ 122.8. I STATED MY TAXI. MY RTE TOOK ME ONTO RWY 8/26 WBOUND TO THE INTXN OF RWY 4/22. I TURNED L SWBOUND, TO BACK TAXI RWY 4 FOR TKOF -- AGAIN ANNOUNCING MY INTENTIONS TO BACK TAXI. (THERE ARE NO TXWYS AT E57.) AFTER I MADE MY TURN ONTO RWY 22 TOWARD THE TKOF POS, I NOTICED A 'V' TAIL BONANZA ON TKOF ROLL ON RWY 4. AT NO TIME DID I HEAR THE BONANZA ON THE CTAF. MY RADIOS WORKED NORMALLY DURING THE ENTIRE MISSION. THE BONANZA CONTINUED HIS TKOF AND PASSED APPROX 100 FT ABOVE MY POS AT THE INTXN OF RWY 8/26 AND 4/22 WHERE I HAD STOPPED, UNABLE TO BACK UP. I BELIEVE THE BONANZA TAXIED TO RWY 4 WITHOUT ANNOUNCING HIS INTENTIONS ON THE CTAF. HE DID NOT ADVISE ME OF HIS POS WHEN I ANNOUNCED MY MOVEMENTS. AFTER THE INCIDENT I TRIED TO TALK WITH THE BONANZA ON THE CTAF WITHOUT SUCCESS. IF HE HAD A RADIO HE DIDN'T USE IT OR WAS ON THE WRONG FREQ.
