Narrative:

Cruise flight at 11000 ft a TCASII RA instructed a climb at a rate of 2000-2500 FPM to avoid an aircraft climbing beneath us. We initiated a climb, at approximately 12000 ft the RA cleared. We began a descent to 11000 ft and notified center of the RA. They said they did show traffic for us, but they had not called it to our attention until we queried them. A visual on the conflicting traffic was not established. Center frequently had been very busy.
