Narrative:
Inbound to ptpn on visual approach to runway 9 on approximately a 3 mi final observed sheer cliff estimated 1000 ft elevation approximately 1 mi south of final approach course, approximately 1 mi from the airport. Though not a hazard in day/visual conditions, this obstacle is not depicted on any IAP charts and could definitely be a hazard in IMC or at night. Enclosed is a copy of a photo taken on final and of an approach plate with location of observation and obstacle noted.
