Narrative:

Aircraft was previously owned by my company and sold to another company with stipulation on one more use for this particular trip. I did not know that it was unlawful to take an aircraft out of the country with a temporary registration to begin with. I was used to flying this one particular aircraft and did not know that it had a temporary registration. I think pilots need to be made more aware of this law.

Narrative: ACFT WAS PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY MY COMPANY AND SOLD TO ANOTHER COMPANY WITH STIPULATION ON ONE MORE USE FOR THIS PARTICULAR TRIP. I DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WAS UNLAWFUL TO TAKE AN ACFT OUT OF THE COUNTRY WITH A TEMPORARY REGISTRATION TO BEGIN WITH. I WAS USED TO FLYING THIS ONE PARTICULAR ACFT AND DID NOT KNOW THAT IT HAD A TEMPORARY REGISTRATION. I THINK PLTS NEED TO BE MADE MORE AWARE OF THIS LAW.
