Narrative:
On jul/xx/94 while en route to osh to the eaa fly-in, I was within legal limits going through the airspace of the griffiss AFB TCA. I was monitoring 'one data' frequency, 122.8 (unicom) thinking that the 'oneida' airport, in sight to my 2 O'clock was what I was hearing. There were numerous thunderstorms in the area, however, it was comfortable VFR. Suddenly the sky turned black and I made directly for runway 28 (I think) at what I thought was oneonta. As I lined up for my final (no other traffic was in pattern) I saw that (again I think) I was on runway 23, so I knew by looking at the chart in my lap, that I was landing unannounced at oneida county airport. After securing the aircraft (during what was now a thunderstorm), I telephoned the control tower and apologized and explained the circumstances.

Title: EMER LNDG.
Narrative: ON JUL/XX/94 WHILE ENRTE TO OSH TO THE EAA FLY-IN, I WAS WITHIN LEGAL LIMITS GOING THROUGH THE AIRSPACE OF THE GRIFFISS AFB TCA. I WAS MONITORING 'ONE DATA' FREQ, 122.8 (UNICOM) THINKING THAT THE 'ONEIDA' ARPT, IN SIGHT TO MY 2 O'CLOCK WAS WHAT I WAS HEARING. THERE WERE NUMEROUS TSTMS IN THE AREA, HOWEVER, IT WAS COMFORTABLE VFR. SUDDENLY THE SKY TURNED BLACK AND I MADE DIRECTLY FOR RWY 28 (I THINK) AT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS ONEONTA. AS I LINED UP FOR MY FINAL (NO OTHER TFC WAS IN PATTERN) I SAW THAT (AGAIN I THINK) I WAS ON RWY 23, SO I KNEW BY LOOKING AT THE CHART IN MY LAP, THAT I WAS LNDG UNANNOUNCED AT ONEIDA COUNTY ARPT. AFTER SECURING THE ACFT (DURING WHAT WAS NOW A TSTM), I TELEPHONED THE CTL TWR AND APOLOGIZED AND EXPLAINED THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
