Narrative:
Flight departed rdu. About 50 northeast of airport captain was hand flying aircraft when we encountered some turbulence. We were at 15000 ft assigned and deviated 200 ft high for a few moments. At this time TCASII showed an aircraft 800 ft above us with a TA. We corrected to proper altitude immediately, but heard him say his TCASII directed a climb. Controller advised us there may be a possible deviation.
