Narrative:
Climbing through 5500 ft we heard a loud pop. The right engine rolled back and egt went off scale hot. Shutdown procedures were followed and an overweight landing was accomplished back at clt.

Narrative: CLBING THROUGH 5500 FT WE HEARD A LOUD POP. THE R ENG ROLLED BACK AND EGT WENT OFF SCALE HOT. SHUTDOWN PROCS WERE FOLLOWED AND AN OVERWT LNDG WAS ACCOMPLISHED BACK AT CLT.
