Narrative:
We were cleared on the argal arrival to cross argal at 10000 ft/250 KIAS. During the descent ATC advised traffic (flight of F15's) VFR at 11500 ft and suggested we stop descent at 12000 ft. Passing 14000 or so we acquired the TCASII contact and then saw an F-15 below us. Later we saw another F15 above us (our altitude was 12700 ft descending). We had no TCASII warning nor did we take evasive action. I suggest that all aircraft in a VFR formation squawk. The formation leader tell ATC of a block VFR altitude to eliminate ending up in the middle of them.

Title: DURING AN ARR RTE, ATC INTERVENED TO INSTRUCT MLG TO LEVEL OFF IN THEIR DSCNT DUE TO A FLT OF MIL F15 ACFT. THE MIL ACFT ENDED UP BELOW AND ABOVE THEIR ACFT CAUSING LTSS.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED ON THE ARGAL ARR TO CROSS ARGAL AT 10000 FT/250 KIAS. DURING THE DSCNT ATC ADVISED TFC (FLT OF F15'S) VFR AT 11500 FT AND SUGGESTED WE STOP DSCNT AT 12000 FT. PASSING 14000 OR SO WE ACQUIRED THE TCASII CONTACT AND THEN SAW AN F-15 BELOW US. LATER WE SAW ANOTHER F15 ABOVE US (OUR ALT WAS 12700 FT DSNDING). WE HAD NO TCASII WARNING NOR DID WE TAKE EVASIVE ACTION. I SUGGEST THAT ALL ACFT IN A VFR FORMATION SQUAWK. THE FORMATION LEADER TELL ATC OF A BLOCK VFR ALT TO ELIMINATE ENDING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM.
