Narrative:
Aircraft crossed close to our position after we had been cleared for takeoff. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that this incident happened at pittsburgh, PA. The aircraft he was flying was a LR35 and the tower was notified by him that the tail of the preceding landing aircraft was still overlapping the runway. Therefore, the tower reclred him for takeoff after the other aircraft had completely moved off the runway.
