Narrative:
Taxied into gate. Cleared the area visually and proceeded towards terminal. #3 engine hit a tug during a right turn in. The tug was not in a protected area, further it was determined that tug was running and could have slipped into gear. Tug driver can't be found for comment. No injuries on ground or in aircraft.

Title: ACFT TAXIING INTO GATE HITS TUG LEFT RUNNING AND PARKED IN WRONG AREA.
Narrative: TAXIED INTO GATE. CLRED THE AREA VISUALLY AND PROCEEDED TOWARDS TERMINAL. #3 ENG HIT A TUG DURING A R TURN IN. THE TUG WAS NOT IN A PROTECTED AREA, FURTHER IT WAS DETERMINED THAT TUG WAS RUNNING AND COULD HAVE SLIPPED INTO GEAR. TUG DRIVER CAN'T BE FOUND FOR COMMENT. NO INJURIES ON GND OR IN ACFT.
