Narrative:
Entered 'rt:1' in FMC in error: sfo lin J84 ekr J100 J56 den actual clearance was: sfo lin J84 dta jnc J130 den. When we were 130 NM east of dta still on J84 denver controller on 126.72 questioned our clearance and did a good job immediately reclring us to route we were flying. The traffic was light in our area and there were no conflicts. In sfo our aircraft arrived late at the gate and we rushed our set up. This is fourth week in a row the 2 of us have flown this sequence and before it was always rt:1. Our flight number had been changed to a temporary number and I thought that was the reason we were given 'full read back required.' yes in our rush we got complacent and made some bad assumptions. Maybe on our checklist we need a more specific 'route...checked' instead or in addition to the general 'fmcs...programmed set for departure.'
