Narrative:
Just after takeoff encountered 2 sea gulls. Ingested 1 sea gull into #2 engine. Immediately encountered engine vibrations. Reduced power and returned to las americas international for landing and check for damage. Engine suffered 3 severely bent fan blades. No other problems, landing was normal at 284000 pounds. Deplaned passenger. Maintenance was required before aircraft flew again. (Aircraft A300 airbus).

Title: BIRD STRIKE INGESTED INTO ENG.
Narrative: JUST AFTER TKOF ENCOUNTERED 2 SEA GULLS. INGESTED 1 SEA GULL INTO #2 ENG. IMMEDIATELY ENCOUNTERED ENG VIBRATIONS. REDUCED PWR AND RETURNED TO LAS AMERICAS INTL FOR LNDG AND CHK FOR DAMAGE. ENG SUFFERED 3 SEVERELY BENT FAN BLADES. NO OTHER PROBS, LNDG WAS NORMAL AT 284000 LBS. DEPLANED PAX. MAINT WAS REQUIRED BEFORE ACFT FLEW AGAIN. (ACFT A300 AIRBUS).
