Narrative:
We already filed a report on our rapid decompression and descent from FL410 to 10000 ft and landing at tri. After the rapid decompression, we landed at tri and I inspected the aircraft. I did not find anything that would be abnormal. So, we fueled up and I decided to move the aircraft to gso and have the citation service center look the aircraft over. While the center was repairing the door seal regulator, I found some pylon skin damage and I grounded the aircraft so as to allow a detailed inspection be carried out by citation. At the end of that day we secured a ferry permit from the FAA and flew to oh in order to carry out repairs. This report is being sent because I did not see the damage at tri and flew without a ferry permit to gso. In view of my discovery at gso, I should have grounded the aircraft at tri!

Title: ACFT FLOWN FOR MAINT WITHOUT FERRY PERMIT.
Narrative: WE ALREADY FILED A RPT ON OUR RAPID DECOMPRESSION AND DSCNT FROM FL410 TO 10000 FT AND LNDG AT TRI. AFTER THE RAPID DECOMPRESSION, WE LANDED AT TRI AND I INSPECTED THE ACFT. I DID NOT FIND ANYTHING THAT WOULD BE ABNORMAL. SO, WE FUELED UP AND I DECIDED TO MOVE THE ACFT TO GSO AND HAVE THE CITATION SVC CTR LOOK THE ACFT OVER. WHILE THE CTR WAS REPAIRING THE DOOR SEAL REGULATOR, I FOUND SOME PYLON SKIN DAMAGE AND I GNDED THE ACFT SO AS TO ALLOW A DETAILED INSPECTION BE CARRIED OUT BY CITATION. AT THE END OF THAT DAY WE SECURED A FERRY PERMIT FROM THE FAA AND FLEW TO OH IN ORDER TO CARRY OUT REPAIRS. THIS RPT IS BEING SENT BECAUSE I DID NOT SEE THE DAMAGE AT TRI AND FLEW WITHOUT A FERRY PERMIT TO GSO. IN VIEW OF MY DISCOVERY AT GSO, I SHOULD HAVE GNDED THE ACFT AT TRI!
