Narrative:

As we approached departure end runway 16L, we were cleared for immediate takeoff due to a dc-9 on a 3 to 4 mi final. Shortly into takeoff roll, the tower told someone to go around. The tower operator again repeated 'go around and turn left' this time with significantly more concern. I told my first officer there was other traffic as I quickly scanned the traffic pattern and saw nothing. At V1 speed, we crossed the intersection of runway 16L and runway 7 and at that time, saw a single engine bonanza pass directly overhead clearing us by 30 to 40 ft. On arrival in las, I called rno tower and spoke with X. He told me the bonanza had been on approach control and was being vectored for sequencing to runway 16L and deviated from his clearance to land on runway 7.
