Narrative:
I departed buffalo at approximately XA00 in a cherokee archer with full fuel on board. I was not carrying any passenger. After performing full-stop lndgs at 3g8 and roc, I returned to buffalo for landing. ATC directed me to runway 32. 6 KT tailwind upon landing. I bounced the plane twice and elected to go around. The tower directed me to make right traffic for re- landing on runway 32. On final, I was diverted due to traffic on the other runway, and was directed to make left traffic for runway 14. I landed on runway 14 and taxied to the ramp. Upon shutdown, the propeller damage was noticed at that time, no other damage was obvious. I was later told that the propeller was under power when it struck. I feel that I was lowering the nose slightly after my flare, perhaps to get more visual information. This may have been the main contributing factor to the 1ST bounce. That first lurch may have forced my hand forward on throttle slightly complicating things. After the plane bounced the second time, it became evident that a go around was called for. (More night instruction would have helped -- 2 hours previously).

Title: PROP STRIKE ON A TAILWIND LNDG.
Narrative: I DEPARTED BUFFALO AT APPROX XA00 IN A CHEROKEE ARCHER WITH FULL FUEL ON BOARD. I WAS NOT CARRYING ANY PAX. AFTER PERFORMING FULL-STOP LNDGS AT 3G8 AND ROC, I RETURNED TO BUFFALO FOR LNDG. ATC DIRECTED ME TO RWY 32. 6 KT TAILWIND UPON LNDG. I BOUNCED THE PLANE TWICE AND ELECTED TO GAR. THE TWR DIRECTED ME TO MAKE R TFC FOR RE- LNDG ON RWY 32. ON FINAL, I WAS DIVERTED DUE TO TFC ON THE OTHER RWY, AND WAS DIRECTED TO MAKE L TFC FOR RWY 14. I LANDED ON RWY 14 AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP. UPON SHUTDOWN, THE PROP DAMAGE WAS NOTICED AT THAT TIME, NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS OBVIOUS. I WAS LATER TOLD THAT THE PROP WAS UNDER PWR WHEN IT STRUCK. I FEEL THAT I WAS LOWERING THE NOSE SLIGHTLY AFTER MY FLARE, PERHAPS TO GET MORE VISUAL INFO. THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE MAIN CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO THE 1ST BOUNCE. THAT FIRST LURCH MAY HAVE FORCED MY HAND FORWARD ON THROTTLE SLIGHTLY COMPLICATING THINGS. AFTER THE PLANE BOUNCED THE SECOND TIME, IT BECAME EVIDENT THAT A GAR WAS CALLED FOR. (MORE NIGHT INSTRUCTION WOULD HAVE HELPED -- 2 HRS PREVIOUSLY).
