Narrative:
I was working (R72) when I had X eastbound J-42 at FL370 vicinity of mol VOR when I noticed swbound at FL354 climbing FL390. The conflict alert was activated. I immediately turned X right. Within 2 seconds, 52 yelled I'm turning mine left so I immediately turned X left to a 270 degree heading. I then noticed turn right into X. I called traffic and X advised TCASII climb. I issued climb clearance to FL390 to X. Separation resumed. 1) I notice conflict alert (Y was not on scope prior to conflict alert. R52 climbed Y to FL390 and forgot R72 was open). 2) I turned my aircraft X right. 3) I heard R52 controller say, 'I'm going left.' 4) I immediately turned X left. 5) targets merged as Y turned right, not left. 6) TCASII went off on nxxxx and aircraft advised climb and said had visual on traffic. 7) I climbed X to FL390.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING (R72) WHEN I HAD X EBOUND J-42 AT FL370 VICINITY OF MOL VOR WHEN I NOTICED SWBOUND AT FL354 CLBING FL390. THE CONFLICT ALERT WAS ACTIVATED. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED X R. WITHIN 2 SECONDS, 52 YELLED I'M TURNING MINE L SO I IMMEDIATELY TURNED X L TO A 270 DEG HDG. I THEN NOTICED TURN R INTO X. I CALLED TFC AND X ADVISED TCASII CLB. I ISSUED CLB CLRNC TO FL390 TO X. SEPARATION RESUMED. 1) I NOTICE CONFLICT ALERT (Y WAS NOT ON SCOPE PRIOR TO CONFLICT ALERT. R52 CLBED Y TO FL390 AND FORGOT R72 WAS OPEN). 2) I TURNED MY ACFT X R. 3) I HEARD R52 CTLR SAY, 'I'M GOING L.' 4) I IMMEDIATELY TURNED X L. 5) TARGETS MERGED AS Y TURNED R, NOT L. 6) TCASII WENT OFF ON NXXXX AND ACFT ADVISED CLB AND SAID HAD VISUAL ON TFC. 7) I CLBED X TO FL390.
