Narrative:

On approach to runway 9R at phl, r-hand gear indicated unsafe. The gear was cycled once with no change in the unsafe indication. Phl tower visually confirmed the r-hand gear was up. Proceeded to ood holding pattern, where gear was manually extended. A normal landing was made on runway 9R at phl. Crash fire rescue equipment was requested as a precautionary measure.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG HAD TO EXTEND THE R MAIN LNDG GEAR MANUALLY DUE TO NORMAL EXTENSION MALFUNCTION.

Narrative: ON APCH TO RWY 9R AT PHL, R-HAND GEAR INDICATED UNSAFE. THE GEAR WAS CYCLED ONCE WITH NO CHANGE IN THE UNSAFE INDICATION. PHL TWR VISUALLY CONFIRMED THE R-HAND GEAR WAS UP. PROCEEDED TO OOD HOLDING PATTERN, WHERE GEAR WAS MANUALLY EXTENDED. A NORMAL LNDG WAS MADE ON RWY 9R AT PHL. CRASH FIRE RESCUE EQUIP WAS REQUESTED AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE.
