Narrative:
Taxiing aircraft on ramp (hangar) under direction of taxi director and 2 persons we believed to be wing walkers. The left wing hit the hangar door when a right turn was initiated upon direction of our taxi director. Aircraft was on yellow centerline prior to the turn and never strayed left of it during turn. Aircraft was operated at a minimal speed and with all lights off except wingtip navigation lights and wing leading edge illumination lights so as not to blind the taxi director. Upon contact with the hangar, the aircraft was shut down in accordance with company SOP and we exited aircraft by staircase (portable). At time of impact I (so) was concentrating on starting a 'balky' APU as per company SOP.
