Narrative:

The aircraft being flown had a deferred pressurization system, a deferred autoplt, and a deferred gpo receptacle. While climbing out of cvg with an unpressurized cabin we were climbing at a slower than normal vertical speed. As a result of the low climb rate, our indicated airspeed climbed above 200 KIAS. The controller called us at 3800 ft and asked our airspeed. We told him we were at 220 KIAS. He told us not to exceed 220 KIAS. No further action was taken after slowing back to 200 KIAS. I feel this is a good example of how unusual circumstances can disrupt the normal cockpit flows and cause such deviations.
