Started takeoff roll. Noticed abnormal engine indications on left engine (i.e., high N1 speed, high egt, low/normal EPR indication). Aborted takeoff by 80 KIAS. Exited runway. Read all applicable checklists per flight operations manual. Returned to gate. Called maintenance.
