Narrative:
Cabin pressurization flow light illuminated (intermittently) during climb out and cruise (FL240). Cabin altitude was above schedule (6500 ft) at FL240. Flight was being conducted with 1 pack inoperative due to MEL placard that was initiated for this segment. Reason was right pack pressure could not be isolated from engine bleed air (possible faulty pressure regulator valve). After 14 min into flight, the cabin altitude started rising rapidly and before ATC could clear us for lower altitude (10000 ft) the cabin altitude light illuminated. The descent profile was being conducted at this time and mask deployment in main cabin was prevented. Captain went on supplemental oxygen as preventative measure until aircraft reached 10000 ft. Flight attendants were briefed along with first officer for high speed, over weight landing and possible hot brakes or fire after landing. Emergency vehicles were requested for possible brake fire. Approach, landing and taxi were accomplished without incident. No complaints from passenger were noted. No emergency was declared.

Title: LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION.
Narrative: CABIN PRESSURIZATION FLOW LIGHT ILLUMINATED (INTERMITTENTLY) DURING CLBOUT AND CRUISE (FL240). CABIN ALT WAS ABOVE SCHEDULE (6500 FT) AT FL240. FLT WAS BEING CONDUCTED WITH 1 PACK INOP DUE TO MEL PLACARD THAT WAS INITIATED FOR THIS SEGMENT. REASON WAS RIGHT PACK PRESSURE COULD NOT BE ISOLATED FROM ENG BLEED AIR (POSSIBLE FAULTY PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE). AFTER 14 MIN INTO FLT, THE CABIN ALT STARTED RISING RAPIDLY AND BEFORE ATC COULD CLR US FOR LOWER ALT (10000 FT) THE CABIN ALT LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE DSCNT PROFILE WAS BEING CONDUCTED AT THIS TIME AND MASK DEPLOYMENT IN MAIN CABIN WAS PREVENTED. CAPT WENT ON SUPPLEMENTAL OXYGEN AS PREVENTATIVE MEASURE UNTIL ACFT REACHED 10000 FT. FLT ATTENDANTS WERE BRIEFED ALONG WITH FO FOR HIGH SPD, OVER WT LNDG AND POSSIBLE HOT BRAKES OR FIRE AFTER LNDG. EMER VEHICLES WERE REQUESTED FOR POSSIBLE BRAKE FIRE. APCH, LNDG AND TAXI WERE ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO COMPLAINTS FROM PAX WERE NOTED. NO EMER WAS DECLARED.
