Narrative:
Friday, dec/xx/94 landing at hawthorn airport taking off from compton heading south flying over long beach area. Calling from long beach to hawthorn frequency (around the tower closing time). Calling again later when coming in at 45 degree always looking outside for traffic. At all times not hearing traffic nor tower and announcing downwind base and when calling for final maintaining visual contact with an airplane at the taxiway waiting for me to land. Tower informed that I landed on the ramp. Also, that I didn't call in.
