Narrative:
Performance manual was checked for maximum takeoff weight for runway 9. Maximum was found to be 144300 pounds. Aircraft weight was 137800 pounds. Later it was discovered that the chart had a note stating 'VFR takeoff only.' to prevent a recurrence, we will check all associated notes in the future. Narrative: PERFORMANCE MANUAL WAS CHKED FOR MAX TKOF WT FOR RWY 9. MAX WAS FOUND TO BE 144300 LBS. ACFT WT WAS 137800 LBS. LATER IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE CHART HAD A NOTE STATING 'VFR TKOF ONLY.'
