Narrative:
Student cross country from roanoke, va, to danville, va. In danville, moderate turbulence. Attempted to do a touch-and-go on runway 13, too high, go around. Another aircraft landed on runway 2 so I decided to do a touch-and-go there. Flared too high, bounced, stick forward, porpoised. Immediately flew out not knowing propeller had struck. I decided to return to roanoke to allow time to prepare to land (mentally) and since it was not apparent that there was damage (no vibration). At no point on the return trip was there any indication of damage. Landing in roanoke was uneventful. Discovered propeller damage after shutdown. Prevention: bad approach and go around, hard landing, stop and inspect.
