Narrative:
Upon entering clouds on climb out from dtw, left fire light very briefly illuminated. Then light went out. All other engine parameters normal, no fire noted, engine was not shut down. Called company and they said to dtw. An emergency was not declared. Note: previous write-up was for fire light. Maintenance was performed, signed off and gave airplane to us. Also, light illuminated 2 other times the following day after 'maintenance was performed.' engine was not shut down and all other light indications normal.

Title: FALSE FIRE WARNING.
Narrative: UPON ENTERING CLOUDS ON CLBOUT FROM DTW, L FIRE LIGHT VERY BRIEFLY ILLUMINATED. THEN LIGHT WENT OUT. ALL OTHER ENG PARAMETERS NORMAL, NO FIRE NOTED, ENG WAS NOT SHUT DOWN. CALLED COMPANY AND THEY SAID TO DTW. AN EMER WAS NOT DECLARED. NOTE: PREVIOUS WRITE-UP WAS FOR FIRE LIGHT. MAINT WAS PERFORMED, SIGNED OFF AND GAVE AIRPLANE TO US. ALSO, LIGHT ILLUMINATED 2 OTHER TIMES THE FOLLOWING DAY AFTER 'MAINT WAS PERFORMED.' ENG WAS NOT SHUT DOWN AND ALL OTHER LIGHT INDICATIONS NORMAL.
