Narrative:
There are 1 too many VOR's with 'county' in their name on the collier 4 arrival (cce.CCE4) to the miami international airport, miami, fl. We were on the lee county transition (rsw. CCE4) from tampa at 24000 when we were cleared direct collier county thence via the 110 degree radial. Instead of flying to collier county we flew to lee county and intercepted the lee county 110 degree radial instead. We were 23 NM north of where we should have been. ATC said 'no problem this happens all the time' (ie, confusion over lee county and collier county vors) if the names of the vors were different then the confusion would not have occurred these names sound too much alike!
