Narrative:

The captain was the PNF working radios. We were cleared into position and hold runway 30L, waiting for takeoff clearance. Controller comes on and says something I did not hear it, but the captain says 'ok, we're cleared to go.' after takeoff, at 400 ft AGL, I called for flaps and began my turn toward the heading bug which is set on 350 degrees. The heading is normally set on departure heading by PNF. Controller comes on and says 'say heading.' '350 degrees.' 'your clearance was for a left turn to 250 degrees, turn left to 250 degrees and advise when on heading.' 'ok, contact departure, so long.' this could have been avoided if we would repeat back clrncs to each other. Sometimes when you get in a hurry, when departing from a busy airport you do not. You just listen to PNF working radios. At times tower will clear you into position and say be ready for go, or don't plan on stopping. Then they will come on and you're cleared for an immediate takeoff and you're starting your takeoff roll as he finishes talking. You should never be in a hurry. It causes problems.

Title: FO OF AN LTT FAILED TO TURN TO ASSIGNED HDG AFTER TKOF DUE TO THE CAPT NOT INFORMING HIM OF THE CLRNC RECEIVED JUST PRIOR TO TKOF.

Narrative: THE CAPT WAS THE PNF WORKING RADIOS. WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD RWY 30L, WAITING FOR TKOF CLRNC. CTLR COMES ON AND SAYS SOMETHING I DID NOT HEAR IT, BUT THE CAPT SAYS 'OK, WE'RE CLRED TO GO.' AFTER TKOF, AT 400 FT AGL, I CALLED FOR FLAPS AND BEGAN MY TURN TOWARD THE HDG BUG WHICH IS SET ON 350 DEGS. THE HDG IS NORMALLY SET ON DEP HDG BY PNF. CTLR COMES ON AND SAYS 'SAY HDG.' '350 DEGS.' 'YOUR CLRNC WAS FOR A L TURN TO 250 DEGS, TURN L TO 250 DEGS AND ADVISE WHEN ON HDG.' 'OK, CONTACT DEP, SO LONG.' THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF WE WOULD REPEAT BACK CLRNCS TO EACH OTHER. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU GET IN A HURRY, WHEN DEPARTING FROM A BUSY ARPT YOU DO NOT. YOU JUST LISTEN TO PNF WORKING RADIOS. AT TIMES TWR WILL CLR YOU INTO POS AND SAY BE READY FOR GO, OR DON'T PLAN ON STOPPING. THEN THEY WILL COME ON AND YOU'RE CLRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE TKOF AND YOU'RE STARTING YOUR TKOF ROLL AS HE FINISHES TALKING. YOU SHOULD NEVER BE IN A HURRY. IT CAUSES PROBS.
