Narrative:

Busted altitude, distracted by company call and aircraft has no altitude alert. No aircraft in 30 passenger fleet has altitude alert. Supplemental information from acn 295016: pit ATC cleared us to 4000 ft we were preoccupied with a non-working propeller-de- icing light and flew to 4500 ft. ATC informed us so we descended to 4000 ft. No conflict occurred.
