Narrative:
On departure from maw airport en route to stl, at about 4500 ft noticed right engine start valve open light was on. We followed the flight handbook procedures left the engine running at idle thrust, and decided to divert to ord. On arrival at ord, maintenance needed to replace the start valve starter and shaft.
