Narrative:

I was conducting instrument attitude training in a robinson 4- 22 helicopter. I was over the livermore airport at 3000 ft MSL, my landing light was on. I was heading approximately 250 degrees magnetic. The other aircraft was a low wing airplane approximately 30 degrees to my right at the same altitude. The airplane heading was approximately 090 degrees magnetic. Due to the situation of the aircraft, my evasive action was a diving left turn when I saw the airplane approximately 50-100 ft way.
