Narrative:

I was notified at XA00 for a sign-in of XB40, sequence X. At sign-in, I was sure that I would not be alert for the second leg after 1 hour 15 mins situation in dfw. I called tracking at the time of sign-in and made them aware of it. The result of this decision was to have a permanent counseling record attached to my file. I have seen too many continue, only to miss radio calls - talk and not be alert enough to be safe. This is a safety issue and I don't want to wait until something happens to resolve it. If management of this airline feels that CR1S are the appropriate means of handling these problems, we really need to address the safety concern in more detail.
