Narrative:

We departed pittsburgh runway 28L en route to morgantown, clearance pitt (1) at 4000 ft. I was the PNF this leg. After takeoff tower assigned a 230 degree heading and switched us to departure. On our initial call departure gave us a 210 degree heading and climb to 5000 ft. We completed the climb checks and proceeded as normal. On climb out the copilot felt compelled to tell me the reason our delay out of pittsburgh. I on the other hand contributed to the non-sterile cockpit, by telling him about the schedule change I had just received. After 4 weeks of 6 days on and 1 day off company told me I was going straight into flight training for 6 more without a day off. I feel fatigue on the part of both myself and the copilot was a major contributing factor in this situation. We also had WX problems prior to the flight that we took care of. Delay off the gate that would cause us to run late the rest of the night. And needless harassment by the company in the middle of my shift over scheduling, when I already felt I needed a day off. Overall our flow was broken and we didn't maintain proper vigilance. I noticed the altitude bust at 5400 ft and pushed the nose over to return to 5000 ft. The greatest deviation was 600 ft and there was no other traffic in the area. ATC didn't question the deviation or our altitude at that time!
