Narrative:
During takeoff roll at approximately 120 KIAS the left engine rolled back significantly then recovered. Passenger later reported hearing a pop or bang. The decision was made to abort. Initial deceleration was good but as the aircraft entered the last third of the runway it began to yaw and braking action decreased. It was necessary to adjust reverse thrust several times to maintain directional control aircraft was stopped just prior to the end of the runway. Aircraft was taxied back to the gate and passenger disembarked.
