Narrative:
Captain's emergency authority/authorized was used to avoid severe WX. The WX was located along oceanic route A332 approximately 110 NM east of absol to approximately 4 NM west of absol. 2 deviations were necessary. The first deviation occurred approximately 130 NM east of absol XA17Z. We offset 6.5 NM north of A332 and climbed 500 ft to FL365 for 6 min. Then back to course and altitude. The second deviation occurred approximately 20 NM east of absol XA35Z. We offset 15 NM south of A332 climbed 500 ft to FL385 for 13 min, then back to course and altitude. In both deviations we were not able to receive ATC clearance and followed emergency. In flight contingencies and WX deviation procedures.
