Narrative:
I am employed by a large modification shop. Our primary work is an stc for beechcraft bonanzas, stc is several yrs old. Recently discovered that stc approved weight and balance information is incorrect. This was discovered due to new stc for additional aircraft much heavier. New numbers are being calculated and owners are being informed. Stc weight and balance will be amended. Original developer of stc was not thorough with calculations.

Title: WRONG WT AND BAL COMPUTATIONS.
Narrative: I AM EMPLOYED BY A LARGE MODIFICATION SHOP. OUR PRIMARY WORK IS AN STC FOR BEECHCRAFT BONANZAS, STC IS SEVERAL YRS OLD. RECENTLY DISCOVERED THAT STC APPROVED WT AND BAL INFO IS INCORRECT. THIS WAS DISCOVERED DUE TO NEW STC FOR ADDITIONAL ACFT MUCH HEAVIER. NEW NUMBERS ARE BEING CALCULATED AND OWNERS ARE BEING INFORMED. STC WT AND BAL WILL BE AMENDED. ORIGINAL DEVELOPER OF STC WAS NOT THOROUGH WITH CALCULATIONS.
