Narrative:
Due to the low temperatures the decision was made to put airplane in a heated hangar during the afternoon. This would eliminate the need for preheat during the evening. Airplane was inspected and preflted and removed from hangar by XY15 pm with departure scheduled for XZ00 pm. No ice was on airplane, it was dry, in a heated hangar. During run-up a final check was made for ice on the wings, nose, etc, in case any blowing snow contacted warm surfaces. No ice was visible. Normal takeoff was made, cruise and landing were normal. While unloading the airplane a small area of the wing and aileron were noticed to have water/ice drops on it. These drops were very dirty colored and semi- frozen. Brushing with my gloved hand removed most of the drops from the front half of the wing. (They were still part liquid). After completely unloading the airplane I tried to wipe off the rest of the drops. Only a few of the drops would now wipe off the back of the wing and aileron, the rest were now completely frozen. A closer inspection made it appear as if the airplane had been sprayed/splashed. Airplane was ice free on departure and I do not know when it got splashed on the ground. Drops were dirty and discolored and contained small dark particles as if it was from slush on road.

Title: ATX PLT CONCERNED ABOUT TKOF WITH ICE ON WINGS OF ACFT.
Narrative: DUE TO THE LOW TEMPS THE DECISION WAS MADE TO PUT AIRPLANE IN A HEATED HANGAR DURING THE AFTERNOON. THIS WOULD ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR PREHEAT DURING THE EVENING. AIRPLANE WAS INSPECTED AND PREFLTED AND REMOVED FROM HANGAR BY XY15 PM WITH DEP SCHEDULED FOR XZ00 PM. NO ICE WAS ON AIRPLANE, IT WAS DRY, IN A HEATED HANGAR. DURING RUN-UP A FINAL CHK WAS MADE FOR ICE ON THE WINGS, NOSE, ETC, IN CASE ANY BLOWING SNOW CONTACTED WARM SURFACES. NO ICE WAS VISIBLE. NORMAL TKOF WAS MADE, CRUISE AND LNDG WERE NORMAL. AIRPLANE WAS ICE FREE ON DEP AND I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT GOT SPLASHED ON THE GND. DROPS WERE DIRTY AND DISCOLORED AND CONTAINED SMALL DARK PARTICLES AS IF IT WAS FROM SLUSH ON ROAD.
