Narrative:

Beginning of sequence, aircraft left pack was placarded inoperative due to supply temperature unable to reduce below 69 degrees. Flew aircraft bna to mem at 16 KTS with no problems. Return flight, mem to bna, flew aircraft at FL230 and, midflt, had dual channel pressurization failure and downgraded to manual system. Next scheduled flight bna to dfw. No replacement aircraft available until XA30 pm, some 5 hours later. Maintenance wanted to placard both packs inoperative and fly aircraft at night at 10000 ft with no pressurization, no packs, no temperature control, with 80 passenger onboard. I refused to accept the aircraft. No reserve capts available.
