Narrative:
Climbing through 13800 ft MSL and told to level off at 14000 ft, we noted a TCASII target below us climbing and on a collision course with us 30-40 degrees to the left of our 12 O'clock position. We quickly received an RA from our TCASII as this target was now rapidly approaching our flight path, co-altitude. We complied with the RA to 'climb, climb' and informed center we were doing so. As we spoke, the other aircraft continued to climb! We turned to our left as the other aircraft was given a vector to our right. We reached an altitude of 14500 ft MSL and were told to continue climb to FL230 by ZLA.

Title: EVASIVE ACTION CLB TURN. ACR FLC RECEIVES A TCASII RA AND STARTS A CLB, BUT THEN TURNS WHEN THE OTHER ACFT CONTINUES ITS CLB.
Narrative: CLBING THROUGH 13800 FT MSL AND TOLD TO LEVEL OFF AT 14000 FT, WE NOTED A TCASII TARGET BELOW US CLBING AND ON A COLLISION COURSE WITH US 30-40 DEGS TO THE L OF OUR 12 O'CLOCK POS. WE QUICKLY RECEIVED AN RA FROM OUR TCASII AS THIS TARGET WAS NOW RAPIDLY APCHING OUR FLT PATH, CO-ALT. WE COMPLIED WITH THE RA TO 'CLB, CLB' AND INFORMED CTR WE WERE DOING SO. AS WE SPOKE, THE OTHER ACFT CONTINUED TO CLB! WE TURNED TO OUR L AS THE OTHER ACFT WAS GIVEN A VECTOR TO OUR R. WE REACHED AN ALT OF 14500 FT MSL AND WERE TOLD TO CONTINUE CLB TO FL230 BY ZLA.
