Narrative:
Takeoff runway 09 fll - our flight was cleared for takeoff and given a heading after takeoff of 130 degrees to avoid WX. We were also told of light aircraft traffic that would be in our 10 O'clock position. After takeoff, we were told by the tower that the traffic was now in our 12 O'clock position. I saw us pass over the traffic less than 300 ft on TCASII. The first officer saw the aircraft pass under right side of our aircraft. There was no RA on TCASII.

Title: NMAC OCCURS WHEN AN ACFT HAS TCASII BUT THE TCASII FAILS TO GIVE ANY TA OR RA.
Narrative: TKOF RWY 09 FLL - OUR FLT WAS CLRED FOR TKOF AND GIVEN A HDG AFTER TKOF OF 130 DEGS TO AVOID WX. WE WERE ALSO TOLD OF LIGHT ACFT TFC THAT WOULD BE IN OUR 10 O'CLOCK POS. AFTER TKOF, WE WERE TOLD BY THE TWR THAT THE TFC WAS NOW IN OUR 12 O'CLOCK POS. I SAW US PASS OVER THE TFC LESS THAN 300 FT ON TCASII. THE FO SAW THE ACFT PASS UNDER R SIDE OF OUR ACFT. THERE WAS NO RA ON TCASII.
