Narrative:
While climbing to assigned altitude of 7000 ft, approach radioed to fly heading of 120 degrees, intercept V526 to wakem intersection then direct 1g5. While unfolding my low altitude chart and attempting to review my assigned routing while also tuning my VOR (a very busy moment), I inadvertently flew beyond my assigned altitude. When error was noticed, I immediately returned to my assigned altitude.
