Narrative:
While taxiing on a narrow taxiway, 25 ft wide, we stopped the aircraft approximately 3/4 of the way to perform checklist items. During a rudder boost test, the aircraft nose turned slightly to the left due to high power output on the right engine. While trying to straighten the nosewheel, the left main tires rolled off the taxiway and into the grass. Due to the recent unseasonably warm WX, the grass was extremely wet and soft. The left main immediately sunk into the wet grass. The aircraft was shut down, towed out of the grass by an aircraft tug. Maintenance inspected the left gear and found no damage.
