Narrative:
Landing gear lowered with no down and locked green light on left gear. Gear was visually checked by so. Gear was down, landed normal. While taxi in, ground control advised we had smoke on left gear. Left landing gear flying door had broken and was resting on left outboard tire. Maintenance was called, door removed, and we taxied to gate.
