Narrative:
Short night flight from saipan to guam at XA00 am, mar/sun/95, air carrier (flight number). The captain flew a downwind entry, and then began a base turn, when abeam the threshold. This resulted in an extremely tight base turn. At 100 ft above touchdown we were still in a turn, to align with the runway. The wings were leveling at 50 ft AGL over the runway. I feel that this kind of stunt flying endangers the passenger and crew unnecessarily.
