Narrative:

Aircraft on autoplt, leveled at FL290 on captain's and first officer altimeter. Center called us to level at FL290, noticed altimeters still set 29.53. Caused aircraft to level off high. Failed to complete climb check through FL180, due to WX/turbulence distraction. Supplemental information from acn 299987: failed to reset altimeters to 29.92. Altitude setting was 29.53 caused us to be approximately 300-350 ft high. Due to turbulence and workload, we failed to perform climb checklist at transition altitude. We need to maintain constant checklist diligence.
