Narrative:
My student and I were at the intersection of the ramp and taxiway bravo. ATC cleared us for an expedited departure to the west. We proceeded as instructed. Just over the compass rose an airplane 'Y' passed 200 ft directly underneath us. The airplane 'Y' said they took evasive action. I didn't see the action taken. The tower called us and asked us if we heard them tell us to stay south of runway 27 upon departure. My student and I heard no such instructions. Aircraft Y was asked the same question 'did you hear me tell aircraft X to remain south of runway 27.' there was a long pause and then they said yes. Again my student and I never heard such a request. We in no way rushed this takeoff and always listen to all communication traffic. Even expediting a takeoff, you must always take your time and 'do the procedures properly.' but as always something like this is bound to happen to us all and all we can do is just keep telling ourselves to remain vigilant. So even at 100 percent vigilance we must increase this to 150 percent or more.
