Narrative:
We were departing bfi for ktn to pick up 2 patients. On board were 2 flight crew and 2 nurses. I was PIC but was in the right seat so that the sic could fly the first leg. Both engines were started by me as the sic shut the door and climbed into his seat. As the sic was fastening his seat belt, I signaled the fueler to unplug the gpu. I watched the voltage and noted the drop in voltage as expected. As we were about to begin the before taxi checklist, the pilot in the left seat said, 'we're rolling.' I applied the brakes, and we stopped moving. The park brake had not been applied and the aircraft was not checked. The rest of the departure seemed normal. When we phoned our base from ktn, we were told that we had torn off 3 ft of gpu cable and that the fueler had to scurry to unplug the remains of the cable from the aircraft. 'Park brake set' is on the checklist, but I had missed it. We were in a hurry to get the patients to seattle.
