Narrative:

Maintenance completed repairs on oxygen bottle (crew) writeup. We were running 1/2 late. I watched mechanic do the job and then take the logbook. When he brought it back I glanced at the book and saw he had written the job as completed, however, I failed to notice that he had failed to sign the bottom of the page. We discovered this in pdx. So we had flown an open maintenance writeup. Although the work was completed. I believe we were technically illegal.
